    Wayne Lafortune
    		 Wayne originally from Montreal , Canada is one of our head trainers here at Summerwind Farm. Wayne brings many years of experience both training and showing reining horses with lifetime earnings in excess of $54,000 and rapidly on the rise. In 2005 alone, his accomplishments included winning the ABI Derby intermediate Open in Raleigh, NC, Open reinings at Northampton Mass., Allentown, Pa., the ABI Futurity Intermediate Open at Williamston,NC a finalist at the all American QH congress Futurity and several congress top ten finishes in Columbus, OH. Wayne is excellent from starting and showing the young horse to riding and showing a seasoned reiner. People sit up in the stands when Wayne's name is called to enter the show pen. He has helped to "raise the bar" in assisting non-professional riders with their show pen skills.
